Lauren gets back to it after a few manic weeks.
The last few weeks have been manic. I have had far too much to do in much too little time, and not a great deal of it has been in my control. Doing the weekly mindfulness session on Facebook was one of the first things I dropped. That was a big mistake! I thought I’d just carry on taking the time to reflect on my week without doing the live. I didn’t. It’s made me remember that The Little Happy Journal is just as much for me as it is for the merry band of people that tune in.
I’m starting a new Facebook Live series soon and I’m trying out a new webcam and broadcasting software to go with it. I love the shiny new look! Let me know what you think of it.
The Little Happy Journal Live
Three things that made me happy: Discovering a new shampoo bar, buying myself some much needed new clothes and having almost a whole day to myself!
What challenged me and what I did about it: Overwhelm! There’s not a lot I can do about the situation I’m in (poorly family members etc) but I can try and manage my reaction to that. I can also try and make more time for me so I have the energy for everything life throws at me.
What I’m looking forward to this week: My nephew’s birthday, a vegan fayre and taking some time for a well deserved rest!
This week, focus on: Write down everything that makes you smile this week. At the end of the week, read them all back and spend a few minutes trying to remember each moment. Putting yourself back in the moment will give you another little boost!
